River & Fifth

River & Fifth is surrounded by a significant amount of parkland nearby, including the Don Valley Trails, Riverdale Park, Leslie Spit and Corktown Commons. Over the last few years the east side of the downtown core has been booming with arts and culture. Riverdale and Corktown have seen an increasing influx of young urbanites and families moving in, changing the urban energy of the neighbourhoods. In particular, the stretches of Queen and King East that pass through Corktown and Riverdale are becoming foodie hot spots and now home to some of the city's best restaurants and coffee shops, including the new trendy landmark Broadview Hotel.
